- azrvingExplorerOK go for it. You are always right and everyone else is always wrong. Now that you see more numbers start screaming and calling me names.

Not sure where these numbers came from but as reported in this e-Trailer Q&A Report Model 1250 which is the basic, 3-speed reversible Fan-tastic Vent fan rated @ 36 watts draws 1.86 amps on low, 2.29 amps on medium, 3 amps on high - numbers provided by Fan-tastic Vent Fan. This coincides quite closely with my own readings taken with the Fan-tastic vent fan I had installed in my previous KZ Spree. Rated at 920 cfm, there's no way any of these Fan-tastic vent fans would draw so little, even the portable Endless Breeze which I also owned and measured for current draw, pulls much more.
They came from me standing there with the trimetric set on amps and turning the fan on and watching it go up by .5 on low, .8 on med and 1.1 on high. Simple as that.
These reading are with a fuse buddy instead of Trimetric
5 yr old fantastic. Dont know model. Dont care.

300 milli amp difference from the Trimetric but still no where near that junk you are running. - SoundGuyExplorer

I own three. A life-saver when power goes out at 2:00AM 87F with 80% R/H.

I have an older competing product with similar power consumption. Doesn't put a meaningful dent in the two 6v batteries, even on full blast all night.

5 year old fan - BobboExplorer IIIAs an upper limit, they are fused with a 4 amp slow blow fuse.
- LwiddisExplorer IIWhat battery brand and model do you have? 6 volt and 432 ah? Must be heavy.

5 year old fan - LwiddisExplorer IIAgreed, Mex.
- MEXICOWANDERERExplorerHint
Speed setting #2 throws lots of air and is much more productive per amp hour than the highest setting...
