I picked up a wool robe. Impervious to acid.
Do a standard 14.4 volt charge on the battery then let it sit a couple of days. Resting voltage should be 13.15 or higher or the battery needs conditioning.
DEKA is an OK brand IMHO. Carefully wrap and store the hydrometer. Use the 1% of total 20 amp hour rating to determine full charge at 14.4 volts. 220 amp hours, 2.2 amperes or less @ 14.4 volts. Maintain (float @ 13.6 volts).
Take care of your Megawatt! This battery is going to make the Mega in need of it's own athletic supporter. Fresh, cool air to the MW.
