I don't get to see the bank guzzle the full output of the array often, normally it hits absorb around ten am and is down around 20-25a by the time the sun is high. Yesterday the sky broke above us for a few hours at 11 am and the bank was hungry after intentional heavy use in cloudy weather the day before. A few hours at 40+ amps was just enough for it to start lowering the amps in absorb, then the clouds came back. It was cloudy this morning too but we took it easy on the bank last night and used the stove for cooking instead of the hot plate. The array was showing 20a in bulk at 11 am when we pulled out, not bad for total overcast.
