Niner, do you have another method to check amp flow?
Of the three watt meters I have used, 2 of them are very inaccurate under 0.8 amps.
Just last night I saw my laptop drawing 0.07 amp via my wattmeter on Standby with a ~85% charged laptop battery. I broke out my clamp on meter and it read 0.68amps.
Moral is, you can't trust these inexpensive wattmeters at such low currents. Corroborate the data with another tool.
I will need to pull my amp meter clamp on from the TT then on Sat... it's in the storage yard, another trip back up there futzing with this new battery. I really do need to get a couple of 30 -40 ah days on this battery and drop the V's on it down to 12.3, or 12.2, a bit deep into it's reserves, and then hit it with the Mega Watt and solar panel to see what happens. It will probably take me probably 55-60 hours of camping to suck 75 or 80 amps out of this battery. Will be negated if I have to use both gennies to run the AC in the local heat, then the WooFCO dog brand charge controller will start trying to push 13.6V or so back in to the battery. Even with 13.4-13.6V, with the low resistance, that AGM is still going to suck up a lot of amps.
