I know we have them here. The last time we tried to use a dry campground, someone ran a EU3000is 24/7. None of my business why and with in the rules, I'm just thankful it wasn't something louder.
Dry campgrounds are not much different than boondocking if you have that in your area. The biggest difference is no one would be there to get upset if you ran the generator all day and night.
I would think even a smaller solar system should be able to hold the tiny amps you are working with in the daytime as long as you can set the controller to the voltage you want. (even overcast)
