Translation, since double negatives in a sentence are confusing... "It DOES seem LIKELY that the positive plate thickness exceeds .105".
I think it explains the weight difference, and the 7 year warranty with 10 year life cycle expected, probably very important Telcom specs to cut back on maintenance expenses and trips up the mountain.
What I am going to strive to do is try to always keep at least 75 to 80% SOC in this battery, or better, and run that gennie to a 1/2% of 20 hr capacity amp charge rate with the generator at least 1x a week camping, at 13.5V, with a quick bump to 14.0V at end of charge to see if the amp take rate changes much, as a top charge to drive the sulfur out of the plates and back into the acid in the glass matt.
If the amp charging take rate doesn't increase, back to 13.5V and let it simmer. The 13.5V the engineer was adamant about, voltage wise.
