Does DEKA make a good UPS battery?

I am using similar AGM's as Mr Wizard, Enersys Pure Lead Genesis series. I read the whole white paper on them (since been taken down off their site) and the cumulative perception from those pages showed me that these batteries can be used in a typical RV application without a whole lot of regard to current for charging. They will accept massive amounts without failure or vent opening. In storage, they are paralleled with an FLA bank and the float voltage from solar is set at 13.6 (temp compensated). ISTR, like what Niner has been told, an immediate charge to near full is the best longevity (but isn't that true with all batteries?).
