The damage either happened last charging session or early on in this one. I noticed the mega was having a hard time raising the voltage and then it started lowering the amps before the bank reached 14.4v. I was under 5 amp at 14.3v when I dropped it to float. I assumed it shut down at that point because the voltage was higher but I don't think it ever turned back on.
I'll call Tuesday to see if it's warranted, if not I'll bust it open and see what blew. Right now I'm using the 230w portable, good thing the Eco-w can handle full power all day.
Thinking about it, I had noticed the fan on the mega was making some noise while not under load. That may have done it in.
