Seems a 7 hour drive yesterday from Clarkston, WA to Troutdale, OR did a full charge in the VW Touareg. Shut 'er off, and Voltage read 12.92V, I am certain some of that was surface charge, it was still hooked up to the trailer's parasitic draw.
Voltage this morning was 12.61V after 2 hours of TV and a 4 minute water pump shower and heat of water, as well as fridge, CO detector and radio draw all night.
The 175 amp alternator showing 14.2 to 14.3V seems to top this battery off just fine.
