OK im understanding. The ring connector is supposed to sit nice and flat on the lead. The threaded post is just to hold it down.
Please view the pics below. You can see how attaching alligator clips to the thread post will result in resistance and voltage drop. Well that sucks.
Lets say i wanted to charge these batteries right now using a charger equipped with alligator clips. If i attach to the threaded post i dont think the battery will receive a correct charge due to resistance?
Similar to the false reading on my Rv Whisper monitor. Its alligator clips are tiny. They can barely fit around the threaded post. How can that device work properly using alligator clips? Will have to cut those off and install ring connectors.
Is the answer what the fella above said in his EDIT regarding the low lead content of 6v?
