I used to make extra money by repairing broken terminals. RV terminals were a specialty. They were replaced by L Pads.
$10 each + the cost of the L pad.
I used a plumber's acetylene only torch and a pencil tip torch head. This is some of the more difficult soldering I have done. Proof I did it right was in the 500-800 load that proofed the termination.
If studs were desired I used AROW fastener and used their 3/8 x 24 silicon bronze studs. Laid a lead ring terminal overtop the post then filled it in with lead. File flat. Drill about 9/16" deep, then taper tap followed by bottom tap. Flux then solder $22 each including bronze stud. Had to be very careful to avoid capillary upward migration of solder.
