Going solar can't be ANY cheaper these days!
Alte in MA has 275W hi voltage panels for .79/watt!!
Be SURE you select the correct MPPT charge controller. I was looking at the Morningstart MPPT controller BUT with 4 high voltage panels the Morningstar would start clipping!
I'm currently looking at the Midnite Solar Classic 150 MPPT Charge Controller, 150V 96A at $608. Will handle what ever I can cram up on the roof! LOL
I plan on putting a combiner box on the left rear corner of the roof. I'll run a conduit down thru the back cap. NO drilling thru the roof for me thank you!
Getting panels off the web can save you money IF you can get around the $HIPPING FEE$ LOL
I can order the panels on-line & then drive down to MA & pick them up.
Moving to 24V is possible BUT the cost of a new converter and the batteires will eat ya up cost wize.
