We are on unit #3 in out 2016 unit. When the unit gets low it will freeze up. Ours would freeze up and spit ice well before the sensor which was intact about 1/2 way down the evaporator.
New unit runs perfectly low or high fan.
You are WRONG. Freeze sensor WILL stop it from freezing regardless of conditions or Freon level as long as it is installed correctly. They may have told you it was low on 410 but I doubt it was. HOW did you(they) determine it was low on 410? Doug
