When you are lighting it off:
Both switches are off (AC & DC)?
Is piezo ignitor clicking/making a strong spark?
Do you have thermostat control (gas one) on 'high' setting?
Have you insured propane flow by lighting off stove top burner on high?
The main flame even when on 'high' setting is not a very large flame so it doesn't take much to disrupt it and cause problems.
I would do a through cleaning of the flue, burner & burner jet.
Here is a decent service manual......pg. 11 shows cleaning for flue, burner, burner jet......LINK
