DOMETIC AC fails to shut down on preset temperature.

My son's 2014 travel trailer with a Dometic AC is experiencing problems and is not shutting down, it continues to cool to lower temperature below the preset. Is this something that can be corrected...

Have him reset his thermostat. Do a web search on the model of the thermostat, it's very easy to do. It solved my issue of heat and A/C running at same time.
