Dometic Awning Part Numbers and Changing out Arms

For some reason when our Coachmen was built they put "basement" hardware (part number 8951001.400B) on. This means we don't have the ability to adjust for rain and the angle drops so much the door rai...

From the picture, it's clear you've got plenty of slope to keep rain from ponding on the awning, it's just the door dragging that's the issue - is that right?
