Dometic digital thermostat

Loose power to thermostat where no adjustment can be made to mode, temp, fan or just to shut off. Sometimes in a matter of hours and sometimes in a matter of days, power returns and operates perfectly normally. Cannot depend on it. The bad news is when it looses power, it cannot be shut off and if in storage with power to coach, the unit will opener at the temp and mode set at time it quit. Any suggestions

    1. Until it is fixed, just turn the 120 breaker for the AC OFF
    2. You need to post model of AC and type Dometic Digital and year and model of RV. Dometic makes 4 different models.
    3. Your problem is very rare.
    4. You just joined the forum. You need to know that when you need this type help, you need to post---Year of RV. MODEL of RV. Brand and model of the appliance. Posting a pic of the tstat will help also. Doug

    Do you lose power to the thermostat, or is the thermostat losing internal power?

    If the thermostat is not functioning properly, replace it like Toddupton recommended.
    If you lose power to the t/stat you need to find out why.
