Dometic E1 code

After spending time dewinterizing our fiver, my last step was to fire up the furnace. That's when I noticed the digitsl display showing the code E1. Nothing would work, furnace, either one of the a/c units. After reading in the manual how to do a reset now the E1 code is gone and now instead of zones 1&2 there is zones 1 & 4. Where did zone 4 come from? The furnace or a/c units are still not working. Any ideas?

  • E 1 is loss of communication between the tstat and roof ac control board. Check the phone type communication cable at the roof AC board and behind the tstat. The default display will show 4 zones when new. The installer is supposed to do a tstat reset to erase the zones not utilized. Also check the phone type cable between the 2 AC units. Doug
