The 'tip' of thermistor is suppose to just protrude from top of clip.
Clip then attaches (slides onto) far right fin.
It is the temperature sensor that the thermostat uses to control the heat source used for cooling (electric element or propane).
Thermistor measure FIN temp which will be roughly 10*F colder than compartment temp
YOUR model of Dometic fridge does not have an adjustable thermostat control on upper panel......it is factory pre-set.
By moving clip/thermistor UP/DOWN you can make minor (4*F-6*F) temp adjustments.
UP....cooler temp in food section
DOWN....less cooler temp in food section
Wait overnight to measure temp changes (factory position is middle of fin)
