Overheating causes permanent damage..........and is accumulative.
The sodium chromate (anti-rust inhibitor) in the coolant solution crystallizes when overheated, attaches to inside of tubes and builds up like a plague.
It is permanent..will not go back into solution once formed.
How long has fridge been running now that you have corrected the air flow obstruction........???
Fridge is level....correct?
Off level operation can disrupt proper gravity flow of coolant which will result in overheating issues also
Takes several hours for fridge to properly cool.
Freezer section cools down first then food section can begin to cool off.
