Dometic Refrigerator

Our Dometic fridge RM2652 does not cool on gas or elec,
does not cool at all on either, the check light does not
come on, it is pulling 3amps on elec. like everything is
ok but no cooling, I can hear burner flame while on gas but
no cooling, it is 10 years old and been left on cooling all
time. Before going further anybody got any suggestions what
might be the problem?

    my dometic ndr1292 double door cooling unit failed last oct. I purchased a new Amish cooling unit and installed it myself this spring, it works much better than the oem unit. total cost with shipping $1300.

    Simple test......

    Unplug thermistor leads from lower circuit board (P2 2-pin connector on board---upper right side just below P1 6 pin connector)
    Place a thermometer in glass of water set on upper shelf in food compartment
    Turn fridge ON using electric element and run for 12 hrs.
    Check thermometer temp ...if not below 42*F cooling unit is blocked/obstructed and NOT cooling

    It's making heat as evidenced by the three amps (that's the heater) and flame so it's not a circuit board issue - the cooling unit just isn't working.
    Now you have to decide whether you want to invest in a new cooling unit or a whole new fridge.
    Tough choice!
