I had an RM2611 for years, they are an excellent fridge. It looks like you've pretty much narrowed the problem down to the cooling unit. Just to be sure, disconnect the leads of the heating element and measure the resistance, which should be about 48 ohms. Then hot-wire the element by connecting the leads to the end of an electrical cord and plugging it directly to AC. Wait about 24 hours and if the unit doesn't cool, you need a new cooling unit. It's not that difficult to replace them yourself. I've done business with David Force of RV Cooling Unit Warehouse. You can contact him and he will help you with the right unit.
