My experience with silicone grease is that it's hard to find, expensive and usually comes in small quantities because of the expense. It is NOT the same as and is not called "Plumber's Grease" which is a petroleum product which will cause rubber seals to swell when in contact with it. Silicone grease actually can be found online in large containers for $$. I used "Plumbers Grease" for years with bad results and couldn't understand why. I think it should be renamed or at the very least have a warning statement to not use it on rubber or rubberized products.
