I'll bet that once you straighten the hinge that the screw holes will not line up, that's why the hingh is bent. Put a wooden match stick in the door jamb hole then make a new hole centered on the hinge hole.

"door jam hole"? not sure where that is? Should I put match stick, so when I close door, the bent part of hinge will bend it the other way?
