Drawer Latches Failing

Our camper came with latches built into the drawer tracks (to keep the drawers closed when the camper is in motion) . One by one they failed. So we had plastic latches installed. These quickly failed too. When I discovered that they were failing because they were not aligned properly when installed, I redid all of them with proper alignment. That helped a lot. But now some of them are failing as well.

Have you found any latches that are reliable?

how are they failing? this is what we use.

That (maybe not the same brand) is what we use. Sometimes the latch mechanism does not pop out when the drawer is opened and has to be pried out manually. Or the latch mechanism breaks and the pieces fall out.
  • We use the child-proof plastic latches and the only time they break is when we forget they are installed and force the drawers open.

    Picture or link please.
  • I keep breaking those things. IMHO these work better.
