Have a lab analyze your water sample.
You need a FOOT VALVE to keep water in the suction line.
Choose a STRAINER to keep out debris. A strainer does not need a replacement anything, just unscrew and rinse the screen.
Settle for filtration of ONE micron or smaller with NO BYPASS even newborn pathogens are larger then one micron. But this is only the first step. ROTOPLAS has housings and filters. You need a LARGE filter.Choose your pump. Few pumps can suck from 22 feet or greater depth.
In the rig a home under sink R/O system for drinking or cooking.
For safety look up an online lab for analyzing well water. You don't want heavy metal contamination.
Politely reject opinions of people who have never set up a well or surface water draw domestic water system.
From the foot valve to the Rotoplas filter drain occasionally and let dry to avoid green scum. Or send a charge or chlorinated water through the system with the R/O system blocked off
