That would be the only way I could see to make sure the phases were "synced" - you're not trying to sync them at all, you're converting everything to DC, aggregating it, then converting the aggregate back to AC.

LJAZ, why do you say the 3K if they want AC all night? Seems to me either option would do it, although the 3K would be more efficient and less noisy.
Oh well, in 12 years of this, and doing a lot of boondocking, I, personally, have never seen anyone run a/c all night on a generator. And if someone does that, I better not be in earshot!!
The usual scenario is this: People leave their trailers in hot weather, return in late afternoon, fire up their generators to cool the place down, eat dinner, TV, then turn generators off and go to bed.
