LJAZ, why do you say the 3K if they want AC all night? Seems to me either option would do it, although the 3K would be more efficient and less noisy. Any other compelling reasons?

In Arizona in the summer time it's not unusual for temps to stay at 90 or 100 all night. The Honda & Yamaha 3000 generators have large enough fuel tanks to run for 8 or 9 hours under load. The 2000 size don't, you'd likely get 2-3 hours out of a full tank. You can get extended run fuel tanks for them, but that seems like a lot of extra work and stuff to haul around.
