I have two Honda 2000s. Most of the time I only need one, but if I want to run the A/C and something else, I use two in parallel. There are at least two ways to hook them up, either using Honda's parallel kit or by making your own 30 amp female plug and attaching it to two male 15A plugs to insert into the Hondas. I have done both and they work fine.
You can also rig up a larger gasoline tank if you want to run the Hondas for a longer period of time. The Honda 2000s only weigh about 45 lbs full of gas so they are not hard to move around. I think the Honda 3000 is well over 100 lbs.
