I charge my batteries with my 2KW generator plugged into the shore power connector and using my PD9260C Smart Mode charger for around three hours generator run time. This gets me from the 50% SOC to the 90% SOC...
Both the 600W and 1500W Inverters are still connected to the main DC line just before the battery selector switch. I usually do not use either power Inverter when charging the batteries...
I really don't under stand your question... Both Inverters are connected to my battery bank and would operate to produce 120VAC just fine if turned on. If I was to turn on the 1500WATT Power Inverter to run the PD9260C Converter/charger which in turn would be charging the batteries that was running the 1500WATT power Inverter would violate one of the science laws I think. You can't charge a battery that produces the voltage to run the charger to charge the battery... Think that requires magic beans or something like that. Can't do a loop thing except for a few seconds maybe. Never tried that at any rate haha...
