Hi Bob,
I hate to say this--but I think the unit you are staying in is going to show a lot of ravages from cold temperatures. It might be better to look for a good used four seasons unit than to proceed with repairs.
Don, I do intend to seek out and buy a 4 season TT. I just don't have the funds for it right now.
Coming to Calgary with the TT in the middle of the coldest time of year was not in the plans at all when I bought this thing.
Usually it sits winterized during the cold weather. Cold at the coast is maybe occasionally once in a while perhaps maybe it might freeze for a day or two.
I never ever thought I would be doing some serious winter RV'ing.
But when my business fell apart and I had no work, and I had a strong offer from an old friend to come to Alberta to help him with his business, I found the need to oblige.
Funny how circumstances change!
But I do have to repair this unit. I paid 6500 for it and can likely sell it for the same. One way or the other I have to either put a fridge in it, or fix the one I have.
Can't sell it with a broken fridge.
And I need a fridge now. Going to warm up here and I will have to pull my perishables out of the cold storage compartment.
