I think your problem may be the outside extreme cold. Many people have trouble with their frig's in that cold of weather. Maybe you should have someone look at it and/or use and ice chest to keep things cold until it warms up outside. Then see if it works.
I know enough about them to fix certain aspects of them, but do not fully understand the inner workings and such.
As a temporary measure until I can get this thing fixed or replaced, I bought a bar fridge last night. 200 bucks at Lowes. That will do for a while. At least I can keep my basic perishables cold. I had to rig a piece of plywood to go on my jackknife sofa with a couple legs to the floor - LOL. It was the only spot in here to put it where it wouldn't be in the way.
