DURA FAUCET REPAIR

I have a DURA Faucet Model DF-NMK801 that is leaking I want to replace the cartridge but not sure how to remove the single lever handle.
Most faucets have a screw but can't find one on this one.
Does the handle just pull off or it it attached another way?
  • On the ON/OFF lever is a RED/BLUE Plug....remove it and then use an allen wrench to loosen/remove lever

  • OR.... Take the entire cheap faucet out and replace it with a quality Moen or Delta faucet in your choice of looks from your local big box store. One simple upgrade you will never regret doing.

Agreed I have been a plumber for 20 years and to this day I am able to repair moen faucets from the 70s with the same cartridge as todays faucet use I switched all of our camper faucets when it was brand new (2 of them froze and broke 1st year)Sold the others on CL IMO Moen is the most DIY friendly Delta is ok just a bit more to repair.
  • The Dura Faucet is not your typical cheapo plastic rv faucet. Brass construction with stainless steel inlet hoses and uses the ceramic disc cartridge
