E450 cruise control quit.....need suggestions.

We went on a short in-state trip the other day and during the trip I noticed that the cruise wouldn't catch. In fiddling with it I realized that the little green indicator icon next to the speedometer...

I tried multiple times to complete that self-test but no light on the dash would blink.
