Easy & Cheap way to determine battery draw
I would like to do some boondocking in Oct. How can I determine battery drain when I turn on a device, like a TV, amp, etc... while boondocking? Looking for an easy/cheap method to accomplish. Thanks

I put a digital ammeter in the negative lead of the battery. It required installing a shunt between the battery negative lead and ground. It was cheap, the meter was about $10 on eBay and a little wire was required. Was it easy, well, it wasn't difficult but it took a bit of time.
