your cabinet may have a false floor
it has nothing to do with the light under the MW
MrWizard beat me to it. Consider his idea.
BTW, Dometic does not make microwave ovens. They're re-badged Samsungs or some other brand. In my last trailer, my Dometic was Samsung. If you can get the MW out and google the model number, you find the Samsung (or whatever) equivalent.
