The Eco-W has no time settings or timed stages. It just goes by the voltage settings and the battery.
The EP Solar non-adjustable charging profile used with their PWM controllers like the LandStar I had, and the Tracer MPPT controller they make, has a two hour fixed time in Absorption after getting the batteries to its 14.6v (for Wets) Vabs. It then drops to 13.8v Float and stays there till dark.
The new version Tracer does have an optional gizmo to let you create your own charging profile instead of that fixed one.
I find all these different solar charging profiles I have had get the job done more or less. It is really to do with how cloudy it is and when during the day it gets cloudy that has more effect on reaching a full charge that day than whatever the absorption time in the controller is. Some cloudy days you can't even get to Vabs before dark never mind staying there.
