It is all put away for a few weeks now. Today when the 230w panel was getting 14.x amps the Voc was about 34.5v that I took before starting. That 34.5 is down from the rated 37 due to the panel being hot in the sun. I remember testing for that a while back and watched the Voc drop quickly as soon as the panel was exposed in a couple minutes it went down from 37 to 34ish and got hot.
I didn't take the controller output voltage --wouldn't that be battery voltage? I had the bank loaded to 19 amps so there would be "room" for the panel to do its full amps, but didn't note the battery voltage (was on four 6s)
Anyway, noted. I hope to check this all out once we are set up late April and get a nice day for it and am not busy doing other stuff.
