Electric blankets don't work on MSW, they need PSW. Can't say about mattress pads.
We are dedicated boondockers so use on inverter is required.
Doing more research and as I thought, a lot of the fancy electronics ones don't play nicely with msw inverters.
Did see one report on Soft Heat Low Voltage Heated Mattress Pad that claimed "Lastly, of importance to RVers and Boaters: The Soft Heat electric mattress pads are the only ones that will work consistently with modified sine wave inverters."
Was on a three year old report so who knows.
