AC creates alternating electrical and magnetic fields. In a coil, these will interact creating impedances (capacitive and inductive). Whether 60hz is sufficient to cause a problem, I do not know, but I would refer you to Richard Feynmann's fine lectures on physics! Cheers, Mike era70x.com
