Problem solved, loose wire in the GFCI. Turns out the dead plugs were indeed down line of the GFCI. Not sure what is actually on GP2 as it seems all plugs are on GP1.
That is what I thought....and started me down the wrong path of looking for another GFCI. Wasted half a day, but at least I know my rig more Intimately now.
