The standard Suburban furnace that well, almost everyone has. Worked fine all week, we stopped for lunch on the way home, since it was cold I went to turn the heat on for the critters, only no joy....

As we ponder this, and I hate intermittents too, it isn't clear to me if the fan was starting or not. OP indicated that the fan WAS starting, but most of the responses were worded as if it had NOT started. Being sure which is which will help with troubleshooting.
