I've maintained my FIL's Four Winds 1991 Ford E350 460 gasser with EFI for some time. Any questions on the motor side, starting, etc, just shout.
Go ahead now and pick up a fuel pump relay and put it in your glove box.
Plugs + wires + distributor + cap make a HUGE difference in the power in these units.
For charging, you likely have a battery isolator under the hood, near the firewall on the driver's side. Many (most?) of those associated connections are quite corroded. I dread the day we pull that apart and start replacing the components because the posts rusted off :E
The catalytic converters tend to clog up, too, if you have any running issues. If it feels underpowered, these are the main things to check.
In the Four Winds model of this year the glue used to put the aluminum roof on eats away the aluminum and leaves pinholes all through it. We put a full rubber roof over top, not too bad to do. Be sure to check it ;)
Good luck and enjoy your new Rolling Paradise :C
