Okay amps are down in the 15 to 16 range, fluctuating due to powering this laptop.
Voltage holding steady, only rising and lowering 0.01v.
Much cooler now. Barely warm.
Its not really that hard to adjust voltage, and 15.27 is close enough to my desired max of 15.3v that i'll likely only open the case for macro Photos, and for fan swapping. For now anyway.
The full range of the provided pot can't be much more than 180 degrees.
I bet the provided fan would be a lot quieter if all the restriction is removed from in front of it. it would certainly flow 50% more air.
When I first plugged it in, the voltage was set to 12.77. I'll return it there, open the case, and take some ohm readings on the pot terminals. then do the max and minimum ohm range
