Still researching these gizmo thimagiggywhoseewahatits. Have watched so many u tube videos about desoldering in the last 2 hours my eyes are crossing.
Since we are talking heat and fans, and after googling mosfet, I believe I already posted a pic of one of the 4 mosfet and even provided a link.
The devices pulled tight to the aluminum blocks and the case with thermal grease and screws no?

Is a rectifier diode a mosfet?
Forgive me if i am showing my Ignorance in these matters.

These things are the biggest sources of heat in my clone. When it was making 37 amps the side of the case where these were mounted got very warm. I did not notice the heat source on the back wall, only the side with the pot.
Once I find my old failed inverter aluminum finned case, I was planning on cutting pieces and attaching it to the two sides to help dissipate the heat generated. But I do not envision needing to go beyond this for heat dissipation. My unrestricted fan is moving significantly more air through the case than the provided, restricted fan in the original location, and doing it practically silently.
Don't make me pull my 80MM fan and trace that one onto the lid Mex :)
Cause I'll do it, and my list of other things I want to do, unrelated to this power supply, is too long.
