Yeah there is pretty much no reason to desire voltages lower than 13.06v which is what USbattery says to float my 31 at, and my measurements say the higher the resistance of the pot the lower the voltage of the power supply though I expected the opposite.

I guess I'll have to be doing some experiments with new pot to ensure clockwise raises voltage and CCW lowers it and does not wind up opposite and throw out the rhythm of the universe.
