It's got it's own built in rectifier for isolation. The price? Ouch! Equal to a lot of CHEAPOWATTS and Shottkey isolation rectifiers. The key IMHO is the ridiculously low price of the CHEAPOWATT. It knocks the socks off the cheapest priced Harbor Fright manual charger I have ever purchased. i had to add freight and tax.
The CHEAPOWATT screwed to the roof of a compartment works for me. The multiple DC taps are a bonus. You bet I would pick Meanwell or Megawatt, if the cost was competitive. It isn't (in my case).
