Mine has a high pitched whines when input voltage is turned down below battery voltage. The more I back off the trim pot to reduce voltage, the louder the whine.
So I try to not do it, but just disconnect the anderson power pole, adjust the voltage to Float, and wait for the battery to drop to the same level before reattaching powerpoles.
By the way, my power poles and 10 gauge wiring was getting very hot passing 36 amps. 117F on the wire and upto 127f on the powerpoles.
The 30 and the 45 amp power poles will mate with each other, and that was the case with the ones on the GT power last night during my test. I think I'll Install some 45s on it right now. Too bad the GT power leads are so short I cannot retask the 30's elsewhere, but have to snip them off close to the ends.
