here is my contribution from very cold Montana near the Continental Divide. this morning at about 8 a.m. It was at 25 degrees. I started up my Honda 2000 generator and turned on the 30 amp mean well.
to migrate surpriseat 25 degrees the mean well was showing 40 amp output at startup
the rate quickly fell at about 1 amp per second such that at about 20 seconds I was showing 20 amps input where it stayed and held. it was very cold this morning and dead silent. my megawatt unit did not exhibit any unusual sounds or noises. it started out putting out 14.8 volts and finished upat 15. 1 volts. I will try to video tape it starting tomorrow morning and post up if at all possible .
