The bottom of the circuit board looks fine. That burned area could be cleaned a bit more too, made to look less damaged.
I data mined from one of your previous posts but I believe I misspoke, the rating on your chip is 12A, it's the operational base current that is rated at 6A.
Here is the datasheet. The Fairchild FET is probably similar.
If possible, connect with Digikey by phone and ask that your order be shipped by USPS First class. It will be a fraction of the cost for shipping than if by common carrier. Parts ordered on a Monday arrive in my mailbox on Tues. or Weds. since I am 300 mi. South of the distro center. To the West Coast will take longer but still much cheaper by mail.
